OK folks I know it's six weeks away yet but given the chaos that normally ensues when trying to organise this hallowed event I thought I'd start now :headbang:

Date: Saturday 5th December
Venue: The Golden Lion Hotel Easenhall

Sadly the two people we dealt with at the Hotel no longer work there so it's been a bit taxing already however below is the list of people they have booked in already (from last year)

If your name is on the list I REALLY need to know quickly if you still intend to attend. Last year there were so many last minute changes it was ridiculous & my nerves really can't take that again :ill:

Soooo, can you please either reply to this thread or PM me letting me know a) if your still coming & b) if you will be on your own or with a.n.other. If you can't make it this year, please don't cancel the room at the hotel yourself as I'll try to fill it via this thread & then change the names, makes it easier (I think :shock: :mrgreen: )

There isn't currently any rooms left at the Hotel, however there may be further rooms become available if those booked are not attending, & I'll try to keep this post updated with the latest situation

For those reading this who haven't a clue what I'm talking about, Sproutfest is our Christmas do held at The Golden Lion Hotel in Easenhall (near Rugby), where we pretend to be civilised human beings enjoying a pleasant Christmas meal together but in reality most people just get hideously drunk (you know who you are ;) ) & buy stuff they don't need in our Sproutfest auction which raises funds towards the running of this site, so long may it continue :mrgreen:

You are more than welcome to attend just for the meal (menu will be available shortly) or if you need somewhere to stay & the hotel is full there is a B&B just up the road which I am sure someone will post the details of shortly & a Premier Inn about 3 miles away.

Would be awesome to see more of the southern posse come along, there are tons of us that could. Im offering a lift up if anyone needs it

Oh ..... and Roz .... we are going to need that pineapple back, there is bound to be another new person attending that will need the treatment!

And if any of you across the ponders fancy going, there is free collections from airports, and places to sleep, lifts to the fest and back etc all layed on .. :)

Too bloody right, after seeing the likes of Mick, Sarah and Mark arriving like ice blocks, the lure of heated seats and a radio is just too much :oooops:
