For those fed up with Christmas TV get over to Wickham Sq A32 just North of Fareham, Hants. From before 8am till around noon, everything goes petrol head meeting from steam, military, custom, classic, vintage and the unusual and rare. Totally free off the cuff event been running for some years now, gets very very busy on a dry day so if coming and not arriving till late morning park up where you can or you could get stuck in the sq.
This was one of Yoffie's favorite events and normally a good spot to find many Buellers nosing around.
Also at the same time a similar event is held at Romsey (UPDATED Romsey not Ringwood :yup: ), many do both in the morning with a good country lane blast between the 2 places. :yup:

not heard of the Ringwood one Steve but Romsey has a vintage and Americana event which quite a few get to after/instead of Wickham.

Wickham is the better for variety.

I've also been informed of a similar event in Romsey on the same day, somewhere near the LIDL shop. Been on for 6 years apparently. Anyone been to this?

Steve Biddlecome runs the one in Romsey. Its been getting bigger each year, started mainly with American cars, now has cars bikes trucks etc from veteran to custom. It's held in the Lidl/Aldi car park and the Crossfield hall one across the road. Not as anarchic as Wickham which has to be seen to believed, Classic Ferraris and bikes competing with Armoured personnel carriers for space in the square as unsuspecting punters try to get through to buy a pint of milk or whatever,

Just found the website for the Romsey event. Getting bigger all the time & using 3 adjacent car parks now, Aldi, Crossfield Hall and the bus station car park.

http://www.romsey-classiccarandbikemeet.co.uk/#

best factor in getting up early if you want to catch them both lOl
