Post subject:  Any meets on new years day down south?
Anyone going out for a ride new years day, if your not too drunk from night before. I was thinking maybe Ace cafe for streetfighter night? or Box hill Rykas cafe. Any ideas. I'll be in Southampton. ;)

I'm hoping to have sobered up by the evening time, certainly wont be in any fit state to ride anywhere!

If you are thinking of heading Up North to the Ace. Try going on the old road (A30?) The e is usually a classic car and bike meet at the Pheonix Pub at Hartney Whitney.

The only problem I can see with a ride on New Year's Day is the crap weather!!! Looked at the 10 day forecast and it is rain, rain, rain, or 0c temps...... too risky on a bike. Pissed off, or what..... :sad1: :sad1:

I would so love to go on a ride out, but cannot see it happening.... which is such a shame. I would love to ride with you guys. (...just as long as you didn't take the piss at my slow riding speed....!!)

The UKBEG tradition is towards "roll your own" ride outs. IE- Do it yourself and see who turns up :!:

There is a classic meet at Brooklands too, mainly cars.

If I'm in a fit state to ride, I may be out for a play, I may even be able to persuade Mrs Coppersaucepipe to come out on her Scg. Where are you planning on meeting up?

I am hoping to go for a ride tomorrow but not sure if I will be up and about before 11.00. Plus my little bike will struggle to keep up with you naughty boys on the fast Buells. Not sure if Ace Cafe would be my ride, but will check in tomorrow to see what you are doing. See you next year!! x
