Jane and I are members of the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre and plan to attend all of the following events, which may also be of interest to UKBEG members.

Monday 25th May (Bank Holiday)
RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
Spitfire and Lancaster flying displays plus RAF re-enactors

Saturday 18th July
UKBEG Main Event - Emma Radford Buell Festival

We met Kev (Kevmean) and his son, Harry, at East Kirkby today. Kev gave us two cheques totalling £791.00 :worthy: as his direct sponsorship from the recent UKBEG Buell Challenge.

Today's event was one of the best we've ever attended at the Aviation Centre, with a Spitfire, ME109 and the BBMF Lancaster each doing separate flying displays. The theme of the event was a step back in time to 1943. Live music, static displays, period vehicles and costumes all helped to recreate East Kirkby as it was at that time.
