Quote: "2 May Everything But The Car- Motorcycles, trucks, tractors – nothing is too bizarre" Think I'll probably be taking the XB9 to this. Is anyone else planning on being there ? If you're riding there you should be able to park in the paddock area as part of the theme vehicles display. If there are other Buell owners planning on going then it might be worth meeting up and riding in to park up together. |

Sounds like a plan but will have to review it on the day as it's the day after (obviously) Mayday. |

Not sure where I'll be then but if ashore will definitely be up for this. Any of the first Sundays of the months are worth going even when car orientated. Tis quite an event considering its free. http://www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/ ... Diary.aspx |

Tax free sunday was brilliant, the most cars I have seen there and been going for some time now. Even beat hands down the super car sunday that attracts amazing vehicles. Cars went the whole length of the racing straight (right to the bends at each end!!!)plus all the paddocks were near on full. Not quite pre 73 but did anyone that went see the "Attack" supercar? A guy who looked like he had just finsihed his paper round was washing it, he had built it from ground up, think it is an atom with supercar bodywork, very nice and very quick. Must be nice to be able to design and build a new car with potential of many sales. Good luck to the guy, i might take over his paper round when he gives it up ha ha Oh very nice Alpha in the car park ![]() |

Yeah Steve I was amazed at how many vehicles there, That Attack was the fururistic white car? Some lovely stuff there, only saw one Buell. Crap weather previously and a beautiful Sunday must have meant first big post winter outing for some of those vehicles. you wouldn't think there is a recession on if you totted up the machinery there. ![]() |

Bumped this up as it is this Sunday, Goodwood Breakfast club, free and this weekend bikes, bikes and more bikes plus 3 wheels and more, and other items of interest. Att how many wheels your truck got? because that will get in to (not sure about you though ![]() Starts early from around 7ish and goes on till about 12. Breakfast available on site but be prepared to take out a mortgage for one. 3rd B club this year and everyone has been brilliant with some rare vehicles on show. Last month they had one of the new 4 door Aston Martins there. Also have a look out towards the airfield as they also invite some rare planes along and if you hear the ww2 plane based there fire up go and stand behind it like we diid in March and got our bits frozen as it taxied, turned and tried to blow us over ![]() For those who have not been, just off the A27 not far from Chichester located in the historic Goodwood motor racing circuit, on 2 wheels go in main gates as directed by staffs and turn left towards circuit straight and paddock areas. On the way out nice little tunnel to pass through and have a rev up but watch your speed as you come out as they wil jump on you if speeding. (plus be aware sometimes police park up on nearby roundabouts at the end of some nice straight roads heading back to the A27. Though if you turn left as you leav a lovely road up past the race course and over the South Downs ![]() |

PR? Whats the pay like? Also this weekend on Saturday, not too far from yourself Mr Deeps is the Cuckoo Fair at Downtown along the Ringwood/Salisbury rd. A traditional May Fair, country crafts, cider, music, May Pole and last year they had some very nice cars and Motorbikes on show, including the local engineering group called Lambs. They make custome bikes and have had their bikes win some of the big competitions and had two of their more famous bikes on show along with a bunch of wonderful unusual vintage machines. Starts at 10, goes on all day set in a lovely English village, attracts a lot of people but a big village and plenty to keep you busy ![]() |
