Shame I was late and missed Thorkil's insights into the exhibits.

You flatter me, Sirs!
It was just the ramblings of an old git who can remember when these things were built by men called Reg, with long brown coats, dodgy hair-pieces and hearing aids, who could tell if something was a thou out with nowt but a steel rule ;)

Thanks for the efforts, Pash.

I had nice time, thanks to everyone who turned up. I was thinking it might have been a disaster of a location...

By about 1o'clock everyone was gasping for a cuppa. As this location was the only museum in the world that didn't have an open cafe we were directed to the "airside" of kemble international aerodrome, which sounded like it was "just turn left outside the gate circle the airfield via Malmsbury Calne Bristol Swindon and Reading and come in the other gate". So that's what we did and ended up at the nearest pub :yup: Sorry to miss you Dusty, wasn't intentional.

good pickies Angela/Dave they are always rare now Mirman doesn't show up so much.

I found the airside restaurant. Twas very busy with Sunday lunchers and tallyho gingers, so gave it a miss. What an array of cargo planes though!

Sorry I missed you Deepsix, and a number of others, but I was diverted by the Bristols :oooops:

Damn it was cold in that hanger.

Finding a hotel at the weekends is a daunting task especially on Saturday night. But I had a solution for you here you will find the list of the hotels to which you can check-in on Saturday night.
