Post subject:  UKBEG @ WSB Silverstone - 30th July to 1st August.
Jane and I won't be going to WSB @ Silverstone but I will still make the arrangements so other UKBEG members can attend.

Silverstone WSB web site: here

Three day weekend ticket costs £40 per adult. The normal price is £50.

Three day weekend camping ticket costs £25 per adult.

To book telephone 0844 3750 500 and quote 'UK Buell Enthusiasts Group WSBK001'

I've checked for myself and it does work - they know about the UKBEG booking code.

UKBEG members will have access to the 'Bike Clubs Zone' with special parking etc. This will be in the 'Upper APM' area - the same location as the 2010 Moto GP and 2009 BSB events.

I still have to arrange motorcycle centre passes and the possibility of track time for UKBEG members. I should have an answer on these points before 17-07-10.

I will need a nominated person to act as the UKBEG contact to liase with Silverstone's representative over the WSB weekend.

Yeah I should be up for this and a mate from work but will need to confirm with him.
Sorry to hear your not going Chris and more to the point why not?
You never seem to make it along to any UKBEG meets even though you promise that you will be there. You have a distinct lack of commitment.

It would be good to know where other UK Beggers are staying as It would be good to all stay in the one place and have a laugh plus I've not got any friends so I wouldn't have to drink on my own. lOl

:hehe: We'd love to be able to attend everything but available funds and time off work are limiting factors. Both of us have to book time off well in advance - especially in the main holiday period.

Alan - I hope Silverstone can arrange some track time for the WSB weekend. I'll try my best to get it sorted :yup:

Hey Richie, we will be camping. :yup: Have already written gin & tonic on my shopping list...lol

Will sort out tickets etc. as soon as we return from holiday. It will be a good weekend of racing...a lot of British riders in this competition...... Can't wait!!

Mrs Woody and thissen are going along to this...but we already ordered our tickets direct from Silverstone :oooops: Thats down to me for not checking the forum :oooops: Also booked in at the Travel lodge in Northampton on Saturday night, as yet dont know which mode of transport we will be useing :hehe:

I'll keep my eye on this one....

WSB update:

The motorcycle Centre Passes are being sent direct to me so I will need your booking reference numbers and your address before 5.00 pm Friday 23rd July. I can then post them to you in time for the event.

Latest info from Silverstone:

Weekend camping is available, your members should ask for advice when booking their tickets. The official Silverstone website http://www.silverstone.co.uk contains details of all the campsites. Click on 'About Silverstone' then 'Accommodation' then 'Campsites'.

We have made an official request for track time at both WSBK and BSB, fingers crossed!
