UKBEG members may be interested in this event which is being held at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby - where we hold our main event, Em's Day. Location and event details: here If there's enough interest we could organise special parking and possibly a discount on the expected admission charge of £9.00 per adult. Please let us know ASAP if you'd like to attend. Edit 08-09-10: Confirmed timetable and details for Saturday: Jane and I will be there for around 10.00/10.30 am and be on the gate (as Em's day) to direct you when you arrive. Please try to get there for 11.30 am latest. We won't be collecting admission money. Adults £9.00, Seniors £8.00, Children £3.00. The Aviation Centre wants all of us to be parked up in our allocated area adjacent to the control tower by 12.00 noon. 1.30 pm Avro Lancaster taxi-run display. 2.30/3.00 pm Spitfire and Me109 dogfight/flying display and pyrotechnics. 4.00 pm Avro Lancaster taxi-run display. There will also be a Dakota flypast at some time during the afternoon. |

We've also invited our friends from the various Ducati clubs and we expect 20 to 30 Buell and Ducati motorcycles. We hope to have a reserved parking area near the control tower. |

I've managed to arrange a parking/display area adjacent to the control tower but not a discount on the admission charge, which has been confirmed as £9.00 for adults. |

I could be around for that ... just doing some diary juggling. I do so wish that some kind soul would point out to the website editor at E Kirkby that there is no such word as "taxy" though .... it hurts my eyes every time I see it, and it spoils an otherwise superb organisation. |

'Taxy' - I mentioned it to them when it first appeared on their web site and in their literature but it appears to have fallen on deaf ears. |
