As the Title says.

A good gathering of a few hundred or so Machines most months. Tea van and normally a stall or two selling bike bits/clothing. (Loo's proper brick one on site to).

Location right on the seafront at Southsea next door to the D Day Museum. Car park entrance turn by the tank. Walk up the steps for views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Gunwharf Quays (Shops, cafes, food, cinema, bowling, casino)and Spinacker tower close by as is old Portsmouth with nice pubs and grub. HMS Victory, Mary Rose and the Warrior less than 10 mins away for those wanting to visit earlier and do the bikes in the evening.

At least 8 Buells tonight at Portsmouth, good to meet up with guys and gals tonight.

Maybe 300+ bikes, Ones that stood out were: a new V max (16k+), a very nice Rickman Kawasaki 900 with supercharger, a unbeliveably spotless Triumph Boneville from the 60's era, A heavily modded Honda CBX 1000 6 cyl 8-) and my fav a XT 500 Yam with 70's red painted frame 8-) 8-) an array of old classics that needed to be run around the car park to start or in some cases still being run around the car park . . . Trikes, customs and better not forget the brother in laws 1957 Scooter.
Growing into a nice bike meet.

I so wish I had remembered this tonight....I could have done with a good ride out!! Been working too hard, so forgot about this bike meet. Have to confess to never attending before but have always meant to. I am assuming the next one will be on 1st July??? If so, I will definitely try and be there. Good to know it is well attended.

Just a reminder tis this week for those venturing over.

Think it will be a refreshing place to be Wednesday evening in the cool :sun: :ill: by the coast with a nice sea breeze, always have a Buellfest group paddle in the sea if too hot :D

Now a Thai food wagon as well as trad burger van for those hungry or as said before Gunwharf quays outlet is only 5 mins by bike away.

Well I am going to try and make it down to Portsmouth for the bike meet this week (tomorrow night, in fact!). What time do you lot get there and whereabouts do you meet. If I do turn up, please be gentle with me, I am quite shy until I get to know people, then, well watch out. ;)

Hopefully around 7ish also, D day museum car park (behind the museum) a walled/banked car park right on the seafront. Short walk up the steps and you are almost out on the beach looking at the Isle of Wight.
Will look out for you all, will be on the Yellow X1 short slim guy

(Now why is he called Mr T, I have never seen him get the Teas in yet :D :D )

Yerp - I'll be there also - you'll recognise me because of my scrupulously clean (I wish) very noisy XB9 with the micron exhaust.

Glad you could make it Jill Brown, good to meet you. Are you going to make DG20 next Wednesday?

I trust we were gentle enough with you. :)

Hey guys, great to meet up with you all. You were very gentle, thankyou ;)

Unfortunately I wont be able to make it to DG20 next wednesday cos we are flying to the US for a motorbiking holiday on that very day. I will be back in time to make the next Portsmouth bike night on 5th August though, and hopefully the next DG20 meet up. I am assuming that will be on 12th August?

Good to see you all last night, good to meet up with Jill at last, that Blast is a rare nice machine, will look even better once you get he powder coating done.
Thanx for the bottle of drink tugs, went down well that did. Mr and Mrs T(birthday boy) and Banjo and Carol (you need a nickname) and Mev was about plus Tags spotted (presume not alone, think I spotted the trike?).
2 lovely old buells were parked up, a highly modded X1 and a spotless M2 with improvments.
Its the busiest I have seen it last night, and some rare unusual machines, A Suzuki sheene replica bike from the 80's, a Rickmann Kawa and a yamaha 650 ss ???? Spotlessly clean. Countless golden oldies, a james, nortons, triumphs etc
Evening topped off with a nice cool run back. 8-)
