Well after months and months (so it feels) of not being able to ride I managed a pootle at the weekend and all was good

I now have my bike booked in for Sat 9th October at Blackbear at 11am to get the fuel pump changed. I'd like to have had it done sooner but we're busy this weekend and then away next til 4th Oct so that's my first opportunity.

It'd be great to see some of you there - I'll even buy the the donuts to entice you if I have to

The biggest donut though goes to my dog who managed to "accidentally" reset my elbow and make this all possible. He's a naughty dog who tugs on his lead sometimes - thank God or I'd still not be riding yet!

Oh, and anyone from Kent or Essex who's thinking that they's like to meet up and ride up together, I wouldn't recommend it - after so long off the darn thing I'm riding like a granny on a moped

Roz, I may well be up for this one. My bike is due its 5000 service, and hopefully will be either dropped off beforehand, and I will pick it up on that weekend, or I will be dropping it off. (Not sure if they are able to service it while-I-wait...!!) Good to hear you're back riding!!!

Well, service booked for that Saturday, just going to book a hotel, so I can ride up on the Saturday (approx 150-190 miles dependent on route) and ride home on Sunday. Servicing done for the next couple of months....yeay!!!

Bumping this back up. I know I've been a bit quiet on here of late, several things going on and my PC being unwell haven't helped. Got the computer back last night without the virus I managed to catch on it that wouldn't go away. Hint: If people down the pub are talking about a well dodgy video they've seen on the web do NOT go home and try to take a look at it, it can cause weeks of misery. Just take their word for it.
So, hoping to catch up with y'all there tomorrow. In a change of plan and due to some severe lack of confidence on my part Tone and I are going to squeeze ourselves onto the Scg and come up together. I haven't really ridden all season, what with doing my back in when I came up to BB in March and then dislocating my elbow I've only managed about 200 miles all year and am distinctly not feeling it at all. My lovely hubby has stepped into the breach and offered to bring me up. It'll be a squeeze, but hey, I get to hug him all the way there
