Current ride: 2 Buells + 3 Guzzis
Location: West Yorkshire
To be held at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby, near Spilsby.

Location details: here

This will be our 4th visit to the fireworks spectacular at East Kirkby. Previous years have seen a good turnout from UKBEG members. Jane will once again provide delicious home-made parkin :P....

Event timetable:
3.00 pm Taxi-run of Avro Lancaster NX611.
7.00 pm Taxi-run of Avro Lancaster NX611.
8.00 pm Fireworks Display - possibly the biggest display in the County.

Seeing (and hearing) four Merlin engines running at night with their exhausts spitting flames is something else and well worth the trip.

The fireworks and parkin aren't bad either....

Admission prices:
Adults £10
Children (6 to 15 years) £3
Children under 5 get in free

FYI We're staying at the Red Lion, Revesby on Saturday night.

Norrie - hope you can make it. I think you need to have another Red Lion megga breakfast :P before the end of the year.

Claire - we must try and arrange something that doesn't clash with work before I forget what you look like :4roz:.....

Chris,
Definately up for this but will be trogging along in the car cos the kids will be with us (unfortunately they don't fit in the panniers of the XT - much as I try and squish the little buggers in there) :D

No problem - it's not really intended as a bike meet, most folk arrive in a car and bring members of their family.

We've splashed out and bought two packs of sparklers to keep the little-uns (Jane and Kathryn :4roz:) happy....

The parkin has been made (and tastes delicious :P) so all that remains to do is make sure the weather's dry for Saturday night.
