This bank holiday weekend see's the Nat A rounds of the UK speed hill climb take place at Gurston Down, just a few miles east of Salisbury. A well established and famous event and this weekend has the motorcycle guys racing up the hill to.
The track was shown on last weeks Fifth Gear when Tiff broke the Hill record in a new V8 Atom!!!

Always a good mix of vehicles and access to the paddocks.

See their web site for further details.

Ahem.....
The BARC's Gurston Down Hillclimb takes place on Gurston Farm, which lies just south-west of the village of
Broad Chalke, which is some ten miles south-west of the City of Salisbury in the County of Wiltshire, Southern England. :geek:

Yep, I stand corrected, South West lOl
I must have had my back to Salisbury.
Its near Salibury and worth a visit if not been before, especially as its a national class A event. (Bigger and more varied with motorbikes than the normal smaller club events).

I used to go in the 80's and 90's then never went for years as it clashed with other events, also for the hill climb fans who remembers the runs at East Tisted? For a couple of years the big house at Tisted hosted racing up its long driveway.
Sadly no longer run.
