anyhow tried to go for a wee bumble today and i didnt even get 5 meters before the engine managment light came on ecm is showing code 14 temp sender and code 23 front injector arse and it looks like they have massivley over filled her with oil as its right up to the filler neck when she has been sat over night

Blown crank seal. Replacing it may not be a permanent fix. the bore for the race on the timken bearing may be too tight, causing the bearing to over heat and destroy the seal. I went through a shitload of seals before figuring this out.

Anyway, the sensors are not at fault. They are doing exactly what they're supposed to do. Oil is dumping into the primary. Engine is running hot so the head temp sensor tells the ECM to add more fuel to cool things down. Will foul the O2 sensor shortly too. Just a chain reaction...

But surely if the crank seals blown the engine oil level would be dropping not increasing ;)
