Maybe your right bobbin was machined undersize. It wouldn't take much reduction in taper size of the alloy spiggot for it to sit deeper. PM me an address, and I'll send you an old spare right bobbin for you to check.
Or.............for some strange reason.........assuming that everything else is standard, maybe your axle is wound further through the right wing of the swing arm, or the right arm is angled out further
..........compare with another 06/07.
