Following up from this thread viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2411 I test rode a 1125r today and found it an interesting bike, could have done with some time setting the suspension up to my tastes but if it was set on stock settings it wasn`t a million miles out.The engines in these bikes are a eternity away from what the aircooled engines can offer, with a nice spread of torque from 4000 upwards then a warp speed Mr Zulu from 7500 on 8-) 8-)
The front brake was awesome with the rear no existent(not that it mattered),but I was hoping the bike was more comfortable than I found it :( I just couldn`t take to the riding position and I so wanted too.So for the time being I`ll keep the tuber and keep on improving that

Why not try the cr; sitting position with the higher bar is much better, :old:

Not really an issue that Pash, the map in it now is good at the moment for me,I`ll just tune the engine for more power then remap again. When the tax and insurance runs out in November I`ll strip the motor down and ship some parts off it to Dan ;)
I reckon for less than half the cost of changing to the 1125 I can make some worthy alterations to the X1 :D
