Thought I'd like to put something into this forum. I've been doing some scouring around for stuff and found a hell of a deal here:-
http://www.jcmotors.com/p-2186-dynojet- ... -1998.aspx

Hope the link works. If you order it the UK customs comodity code is:-
8714190000
Price you pay incl shipping is + 3.7% import duty and Vat @15% on top.
Works out around 90 quid at the moment, a good 50 quid saving.
:D
Booney :!: Has some of the answers too

What he said ... seriously. I know the above deal is cheaper but ... bang for buck, the Micky is the better deal ..

Maybe they only work on orange one's :?

Anyway, the kit is for the White Lightning, there's a different one for the S1.

Dyno-saw, hey I want to increase power - not cut it!

I never had much luck with kits and I tried a few  The HQ kit seemed about the best. I suspect drilling the airhole out is bollocks too.

When I bought the V&H for the S3 the dealer (us) gave me a Keihan kit (rrp was then about 32 bucks) free- Made a difference too. Different jets and needle iirc.

So that would be the Mikuni HSR 42-11?
Will it go with what I've got :?:
I am running a White Bros at the mo, but I have a Borla coming over from the US.
Filter I am not sure about, it's a round carbon cover that I've not managed to look into yet due to the fact I have no AF allen keys :!: Anyway, I was thinking about getting the Forcewinder - cos I'm such a lanky sod
My bike was sold new by Stadium and included a Stage 1 tune, whatever that means?
:?

I'm a member of the "stage 1's and expensive jetting kits" are there to help you fund your dealer mentality. I think they also help increase Shell and BP's profits.

Poor folk just call up the jets they need as indiviudal spares items and do the tweaks themselves or with the aid of a friendly technician. There used to be some good on-line articles about this for Hardleys and probably still are.
