Yep 2010 engines have the latest clutch hydraulics, much modified cam chain guides and a far easier oil check proceedure.....done on the sidestand via the sight glass.

Also noteworthy is that all 2010 models get a revised front brake M/cyl. to reduce lever travel.

Maz would you buy an 09 model?
I realise you have just bought a 2010 model.

Nah, not really interested in an 09.

I've put a deposit down on a 2010 but there's no guarantee that I'll get one ?

Err.....I don't think he has. I've got one and I'd like to see it in a proper frame and get a proper front brake. I don't like it as much as my X1 either but it doesn't make it a bad bike.
The Helicon motor is utterly brilliant with loads more tuning potential to come out of it 8-)

Consider yerself corrected....last Buell I bought (apart from the MB) was a 2001 X1......I will never own an XB cos they're shite....I never got on with the looks of the 1125R but the CR is nakid/ugly enough to be considered almost a proper Buell.

It has a proper engine and the 2010 has proper wheel bearings.....also the fuel in frame now makes sense with a liquid cooled motor and those side pods should work well as crash bungs ?

That would be good but you need a new 2010 wheel.
