Interesting.... Always thought a chain would machine its way through an X1 swingarm, and its looking very close.

On the land speed bikes, everyone has to use the old tubular S1/S2 swingarm or the chain will drag with a small rear sprocket. TM Designworks doesn't make a "slide and glide" kit for the Buell.

Love the frame, engine, tank colour scheme, brake set up. Not sure about the seat but that's down to personal taste. But i'll never understand why anyone would change from a belt drive to a chain. If i could change my speed triple to a belt drive i'd do it tomorrow. It's easier on the transmission, quieter and cleaner. A belt wins every time. :yup:

Is it preferable to have one's toe/finger/penis/pet* caught in a rotating chain drive (where it will most likely be severed instantly) or a belt system (where it will be flensed for a while)?

:yt: - 100% agree - great job :clap: :clap: .......but the front light, rear end - chain drive and rear sprocket look out of place ...........but there again it's down to personal taste and it's not the Buell traditional look we are are used to (and love :D )

Just for info on the chain.... it has an adjustable height roller to prevent slap against s/arm bracket. Early days but inspection after a few miles shows nil contact.
