I'm still not sold on the stealth yet, need to hear it I suppose.

Now I know these aren't for Buells but I do like the look of the "ground pounder" style with slash exits. Nice set from V&H.

Not sure it would look quite right underneath the Buell though even if someone did make them.

Crap ground clearance with the 4" exit. Wicked sound though - more than makes up for it

I've got the standard silencer as well, which one do I fit dilemma???? Less is more and all that!! Does the stealth give a performanc gain over the stock item, or is it just a bling thing that I can sell on to the next fashion victim??? P.S. Anybody got any Burberry pattern leathers for sale??

If there is a performance gain it will be only marginal, and I doubt whether you will notice. The gain is in the blinging looks and the superb sound. Whether you are on tickover, burbling along at 3000 revs, or on song over 5000 revs the sound is just sublime. I like the exit pipe roadside so it is more chavtastic when the bike is on the sidestand. 8-) ......Oh go on then, here's a picture...........innit. :D

Performance gain in terms of speed and acceleration may be hard to determine, but increase in torque on my City X is quite marked. Girlfriend commented on extra G force, so we went and bought some 'love handle grips' for her. I also keep thinking I'm still in 4th gear cos the motor now pulls nearly as hard in 5th, but seems to run out of puff at top end (not that you need that much speed!). :)

I specified a 3 inch exit pipe, which I think looks neat and still sounds 'bloody fantastic'. ;)

If there had been a 10" exit pipe available I would have had it. 8-)

Thanks for the info, I thought it was a stealth, as I'd heard about them but not seen one. Chavviness is indeed in the eye of the beholder, and I must admit, it looks like the sort of thing that you'd normally see sticking out of the back of a clapped out old Corsa, or indeed a Subaru , but it sure as hell scares the shit out of car morons when you wind it up!!!

..which confirms its chaviness once and for all
