I would rather trust my forks to a non-HD/Buell independent shop than to most HD dealers. Working on sportbike forks is not exactly a Harley specialty, is it? Hopefully places like Black Bear et al who still like and care for Buells are the exception.

I had no choice, it was either them or me, but I didn't have a spring compressor at the time. Next time I'll do it myself. I'll probably screw it up, but at least I'll learn something

I got a fork seal done and fork oil changed at a Honda/Suzuki shop in Portimao, sw Portugal, as I live just down the road. I'd rather trust any job to mechanics down here when compared to some of chains in London.
