JMO but I've always thought the standard subframe just didn't look right with the rest of the bike and looked like a stroke from the ugly brush. I think that looks much better. :ner:

In fact the gusset piece matches the gusset under the tank and I would say even an Italian design house it could not have got a better look.

We all make changes from the standard, twin disc's was yours this is mine. Some may like it some may not :!: it can always be reverted if not liked :roll: Have another vodka an chill out now your older :shock:

I like the tube subframe. Yes the original is iconic but my personal taste is the shorter version cast seat unit or the tube... :yup:

Nice bit of tube work, looks like the one Purpony made for his (on badweb), the best looking IMO are the short cast ali ones from twin cycles in holland (includes a seat but is mega bucks), it gives the X1 that superior S1 short tail look. but i feel sorry for any passengers.
