Mines an Albert and although had some problems over the years with the older model (which was the first one al made for an X1) the new can is fantastic, brackets great and sounds awesome. Al is one of us and hope we still recommend his work.

Well that's good to hear. I'm not a fan of asshat-loud though I have 2 bikes that suggest otherwise. :coat:

My Albert headers are lovely, the can is nicely made too, but I find it antisocial loud to the point that it really does hurt my ears if I give my bike the beans.
I'm asking for problems from Guardia Civil Tráfico riding it here.
I bought a db killer off e-bay to try and quieten it down a touch, but I can't get the end off the can without risk of damaging it, so I'm just going to get a street legal can with a 2 1/2 inch pipe and replace it.
I suppose I could radge the can, if I'm not going to use it, nothing to lose, then maybe make a new end cap.
I'll keep the lovely headers though :)

So let me ask for those that have either.

Is it best to get the Albert header and Pipeworx can combo?

Or get both from Albert?

Like I said, I'm not interested in any more noise than what the pro-series had. To me that was "just right." The D&D is as loud as Force which is unacceptably anti-social, not to mention mentally exhausting.

Right I've had the pipe with the safety sleeve(see pics)and he has given a price of £250 if I can get an order for 5 or more but preferably 10. The price includes the rear hangers & if you don't already have a :maz: front race bracket i would recommend one of them also.
Postage will be £15.00 anywhere in the UK and worldwide is £50.00
I already have some interested parties but if you could PM if you are interested i can give you the payment details.

You will also get an Emporium/UKBEG gel coat key ring thrown in in the colour of your choice

Cheers

That is a great bit of kit 8-) as Maz says get it and a set of Alberts headers and it is as near a Genuine race kit as is possible to find. It always used to make me chuckle when people that didn't know Buells sold the genuine cans as damaged due to the dent in the top of the can not realising it was supposed to be there to clear the oil drain plug lOl

Gonna need the header now.

Is the O2 bung location modified just a bit so you can actually get the fecker out if it fouls? Always hated the angle on the Buell one.
