I had a wire break off about 10mm from the solder joint, luckily for me it happened in the pits as I pulled back out of my space and turned the bars. At least I knew which area to look at.

They are the same switches , I believe the 1125r is same as firebolt and the 1125cr is the same as the xb lightning

Having removed the switch, the wiring had been repaired before, and this had broke again.
was thinking of extending the wires by a couple of inches to see if that helps re-leave some of the stress on the wires.
the connector had a nice smear of a white grease on the contacts, and nothing else looked out of place, so fingers crossed..
