Weird isn't it Kev? I have about £800, not sure I've topped it, but it's almost there - but people are still promising me money and telling me they'll give me some after payday etc, they're not on my sponsor forms, just random additional sponsors. I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong, it's just surprising where the support can come from.
I have one chap who promised a tenner - every time I see him he pats his pockets and says he has no money on him. He asked for the online page and I have given him it several times now, I don't think he's going to pay up - that's annoying!
Even so, the totals are excellent - well done everyone - brilliant effort xxx

As of today, 21-05-09, the 2009 total now stands at £3,156.89 ..

Thanks to Devon Bob with his 'on-line' sponsorship donation the total has just increased by £100.00 ...

Following the success of the recent UKBEG Buell Challenge, which is expected to raise in excess of £5,000 for Em's Charity, formal arrangements have now been made for the cheque presentation at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, at 2.00 pm, Saturday, 20th June.

Meet at Black Bear HD/Buell, Newmarket, between 12.00 and 1.00 pm. Free tea/coffee and sticky buns and/or doughnuts will be available.

We will leave at 1.15 pm to go to Papworth Hospital.

All are welcome to attend, whether you took part in the UKBEG Buell Challenge or not.

Ok Chris, I have written the cheque and will post it this afternoon. I may have missed the evening collection so I apologise but I'm sure you'll forgive me when you see it.

My friends cheque hasn't arrived yet but he assured me it's in the post and has told me how much it's for so I've included it.
