Mine is a 06 with 14k on it and for what its worth.
IMO, after a lot of messing with my bike, the min you must have is.
Scorp Syncs or better rubber, add 10ml of heavy oil per fork, change all the brake pads to EBC or better, take the hand guards off if you ride over 80 mph, output shaft nipple mod, 2500 mile oil changes, subframe earth point clean, ECM-SPY lead/software, cable tie at the top of the clutch adjustment boot and a FST.
Other stuff. The crankcase vent mod works well as does opening up the airbox and a K&N air filter. 97 RON fuel is better. The Remus can is great and the Powerizer does help with the low/mid range fueling. Yes I know what people say but I have done 10k "back-to-back" miles with it and it does work even though its a bit dear to buy. The suspension is, IMO, very good but it must be setup right. If you ride at night a lot do the dip/main beam mod and use better lamps like PIAA. They cost a bit but worth it as the Uly is not great on the lights.
Keep an eye on the wheel bearings. What some do not understand is that the Uly
DOES HANDLE and slight wear can ruin this. They are easy/cheap to change out.
IMO the Uly is a modern classic. One of those bikes thats a "parts bin", of a bike range, used to meet the market trend of moto/adventure/tour bike that has come together so well. In some regards is was ahead of its time. Which is very odd from a company like HD
