I've now fitted a 1 Litre clutch resorvoir and all seems to be well. ;)

09 1125R misting IC replaced under warranty, to also try to cure LFL/CEL problem, cheaper for HD than replacing the fuel pump and sender unit - since later 09 IC had slightly different firmware for the sender resistance checking

The bearings are shot as are the wheel bearings.
And yes I know you can replace them but HD only replace the pulley.
I've not used the bike for the last couple of weeks so It's not an Issue and I'm off to Amsterdam this weekend and apparantly the parts should be In next week.

So far despite being ridden in all weather conditions I've not had this issue with mine in 6000 miles.....then again the clutch doesn't weep either .............or the water pump ;) ..........only issue mine had was the alternator one.

My clock misted up all winter but have been fine through the summer. Clutch started weeping at 8k miles, parts should be in next week.

In looking at these units, I have found that they are not sealed from the atmosphere at all.
In one instance, they have a breather on the back towards the bottom of the clock, and secondly, the opening for the connector plug goes straight through to the circuit board, no sealing there then.
I could be wrong, ( it has been known on oh so many occasions ;) ), but has been said already, it mists because of differences in air temps causing condensation in the clock.
Mine misted badly at first, but after having looked into it a bit, I decided to make a 1/8th size hole in the underside of the rubber boot covering the connector plug, allowing (my hope was) a more equalised air temp. I also only have the clock brightness set on position 2.
Since I have done this, I have not suffered with misting at all in any type of weather or temperature. :yup:

Like I say, i could be wrong, but it has certainly worked for me.
