2001 X1 , and I have to say, it's a more reliable ride than my wife.....and the X1 still gives me a smile or two.....just a bit worried about a bit of wear and tear, and some on the X1....

Uly here too. 2006 1st registered in 02/08. 17K miles. BUT it has to go. Bought a B-King and as a second bike the Uly is a bit pointless. Awful in town, dubious reliability, the worst gear change I've ever experienced, wheel bearings etc etc. So it's going to be replaced as a 2nd bike by a Yammy XT660R. That'll be a shed load cheaper to run and nearly as much fun. Still sunny down here!!

Have watched the buell models for years, always had this doubt in my mind that something about the style just wasn't right, then along came the 2010 xb12scg,the best looking bike of the range, the encore to end them all. Chuffed to fuck!!!!!

hi nick got same 06 uly registered 08 but with only 5k mile
got mine back end of last year only done test ride then been in garage ever since waiting for warmer weather to do a few mods / service ect
(on test ride found gear change ok)
also own ccm r30 644 cc great bike but just feel like your winding the handle bars off the thing all the time. may be i'm getting old just wanted something you could stick at around 70-80 on the nice country A roads and arrive in comfort .
ps mechanic by trade so working on bikes not really a problem

I had a CCM R30 too, great bike, and really gave the big boys a run on the twisties, but as you say, I was also wringing the bars off it!
I bought it after quite a few years out of the saddle, and thought I needed something less brutal now I've passed 50! I rode it twice, and realised, you never really loose the edge.
Anyway, I have the X1 now, and that's more like it. But I have a feeling I'll be looking for more power soon......

A 'studio' shot of my '98 Razorback taken last summer, shortly after I'd rebuilt it.
It was taken by a publisher for proposed inclusion in a 'coffee-table' bike book but they have now decided not to use it as the bike is 'not standard enough'.
The image is apparently 'copyrighted', so I can't use it for gain but I think it's OK to still show you!
I may put it in the gallery if I can get my 10 year old son to show me how... ;)
