if you need a genuine 8 ball , i have one :yup:
if you want it ?

Gonna shy away from that as there's too many about.
What I'm looking for, is four brass balls, about 7/8 to 1 inch diameter. :yup:
And yes, I've checked the local monkeys. lOl
I'll thread the balls over a stud in the top of the lever, leaving the last one tapped blind.
Anyone got any brass balls? lOl lOl lOl

You wanna get down to the Ironmongers and rob the tops off his pokers ;) lOl

There's not many true Ironmongers left to look at.
I can get them off Ebay in the States, but I'll poke around a bit more here first.
I'm calling in to Kempton Park (Autojumble) on the way up to Sproutfest, just in case there's a cheap girder available.

didnt want to jump in without sying hello at least but if yr looking for a new set of girder forks let me know (PM)...have a lady friend Id like to introduce...If yr down south that is..Max

My mate, Maz lives down in somerset...pretty close to you buddy...She'd build a pretty authentic repro one for your rebuild..
she's rebuilt hundreds of British bikes over 20+yrs knows what she's talking about..
propably get you a better tank than the sportster one eh??

she works from home these days

I didnt really want to post her pictures without permission

If you want I'll ask her for a plan to send over(based on the stock front end), there pretty easy to put together yourself, I guess if you had the inclination lOl

Regards

I'd certainly take a look. :yup:
I'm trying to get the vintage look, as opposed to a modern looking girder.
I've got a Cole Foster tank coming.
