I have had both Roberto and Freespirits scoops but currently don't use one.

The Roberto looks EXACTLY the same as the LH std part whereas the Freespirits looks like it was developed in unison.

The Freespirits already had the hole drilled in it when I bought it.

My Roberto one (large header type) had all the holes drilled when I got it as well. Front fastener was a bit fiddly, but not too bad.

Old post I know, but is the warrs one the right hand one that will fit my soon to be purchased 05 xb12r, iris the somewhere cheaper I can get one?

Just fitted my buell one. Rode home today from MOT station in searing heat (for UK) a couple of miles in rush hour traffic. Fan didn't come on when I came home and switched off :D

Just thought I'd add, after every track session at Brands last week, fan still didn't come on. Seems the right scoop really works :clap:

or the thermo couple in head :o

but on a more serious note i've got the right hand air scoop on my uly and it does appear to make a difference,if you keep the speed down to legal limits then the fan hardly comes on
