Not Uly regarding, but I have both my firebolt's forks redone by
FRS and they did a very good job. I never experienced any trouble with fork travel, so I kept the old springs, just asked for a better setup for my weight and riding style (rough roads mostly). I adjusted fork preaload to 1/3 negative sag and in combination with the Pilot Road 2 the setup is fine for me now. The
guide bushings were quite worn even after only 10k mls, so it seems a good idea to me to have them replaced regularly. In the end, having this all done was well worth the money.
