The bike was registered for road use in 1998 and does reflect its’ age in respect of wear and tear. There are no significant issues with the body work (there is a small tear in the seat, the engine could do with cleaning up, and the paintwork could do with being refreshed, as expected for a bike that is over 13 years old).
Yeah, right. It's in a hell of a state. Not many 13 year-old bikes have been as badly neglected as this one, and it makes me wonder how the engine has been treated. And with only 11,220 on the clock?!! Needs a complete strip down to clean everything up.

The bike was last MOT'd and serviced in April 2011, whereby it was in excellent working order (and a lot of fun to ride!!). Since then, it has not been started, and has been stored in a shed.
The last time that bike was in excellent working order was proobably 10 years ago.
I fully agree. Even my well (winter-)used '01 M2 looks relatively pristine compared to that after 10.5 years and 62k despite my less-than-fanatic maintenance and cleaning habits; it's fashionably popular to be cynical about Buell, but the quality of finish ia actually surprisinlgy good compared to bikes I have owned in parallel (like a rotting-happy Honda Africa Twin and dito Yamaha TDM 850). Not bad, realising that the M2 was more or less the "budget" Buell in the line-up. Then again, a yellow M2 has less beauty to lose from new I suppose compared to a S1W
