I have sourced some O rings and the aluminium and copper crush washers (not common with Aprilia) at a fraction of the (Aprilia and Buell) price.

Wont be trying them for a bit as my bike has only just about reached it's first (free) service...

The service spec states that NEW washers should be used so ask for your old ones back ;)
Remember, it's not a 'free' service, you've already paid for it in the purchase price 8-)

Picked up the Aprillia Rotax filter on Saturday and it is dimensionally equal to the Buell Rotax filter , the rb code is the same on each. With the Aprillia Rotax filter you do not get the O ring, but since the over the counter price for the Aprillia filter was much cheaper than the Buell Rotax filter the solution is simple

Which O ring are we talking here? The big one for the cover?

Interestingly, as part of my "free" service debate, I found out that the big O ring costs nearly £5 + VAT and the crush washers cost £7.50 + VAT for the pair :o
