And a video announcement from the man himself :D http://www.buell.com/en_uk/company/

That's brilliant, he is looking a lot happier already.
He says he will supply parts and support for racing at every level: would that include commuters leaving from home too late on a Buell and still trying to make it in time? ;)

It'll be interesting to see what happens if the 1125RR proves to be really successful...

Well if there was ever a contrast in 'before and after' video, then this is it.
The guy is obviously fired up about next year and righly so. :D
Free from HD day to day input he can concentrate on what is the most pure form of motorcycle development.
I wish him and his team the best of luck, and hope that they 'go kick some ass' and make HD realize that the best way to attract new blood to the brand was backing Erik more not less........!
In true northern style good on yer lad

Fantastic News!!

I too have sent Erik and his team a message of congratulations and best wishes for the future.
I really look forward to seeing Buell Motorcycles kicking butt over the pond and fingers crossed, over here too!..... wouldn't that be something!
Although, Joe Elliot with his Drag Race exploits is already doing that with his 1125R,
this news will be really good for him :yup:
Anyway, it's made my day and it's good to see a smile on the great mans face again!.

Jon

No doubt it'll be plenty of hard work for them all, but can you imagine the job satisfaction compared to having to deal with all the corporate shit that must have gone on before.
Bring on the next chapter/s

It look promising to see a part of Buell live on again and for that I'm very pleased for Erik. However, I am still sad that the road version of Buell has come to an end. I bought my first Buell May of this year and would have bought newer models probably as the years went on. There's no light at the end of the tunnel for the road bikes to be remade - I hope this changes!
