Bleeding beautiful brace of black Buells, backdropped by a bendy bridge in Bristol.

Fixed that for you, D6.

Yes, they gave the bridge a fresh lick of paint a couple of years ago.

Didn't think too much of Horseshoe Pass - especially since I binned it on the way up - gravel across the centre of the road on a blind bend. Kind of put me off my game for a few miles, and the breadknife wasn't too happy getting chucked off the back.

No real damage and we both walked away although with some torn trousers.

Not bad for about ~ 30 mph.

Quite a long day on the bike - this was the improvised touring seat for Mary-Doll:

Aaah, seeing this photo has made me realise you were at Hendon!!! :oooops:
Saw your bike pull up but didn't get a chance to chat.

Sorry to hear about your 'off' glad you survived reasonably unscathed.....there is too much gravel etc. on the roads at the moment... don't ask me how I know.. :oooops:

Good to meet you Craig. Did the lower pegs help along with the towel?

Del get that R&G fitted as you can see they work.

Hope you and the bike were OK Jill.

Was a little while back. I'm fine, thanks for asking. Fortunately had a knight in shining armour to help me. :sun:

Can't recommend the R&G crash bars for XBs enough.

Glad your both ok. :yup:
Don't let it put you off Welsh passes though the majority are pretty gravel free.
Look on the brightside least it wasn't Llanberis or Ogwen, that could well have been terminal :ill:

Pic taken today after putting the stock bars back on.

As you can see, pretty much a stock bike with the exception of the drummer pipe.
