got my shiny new hex key set today and it is bang on 9mm. gonna give it a go tomorrow so hopefully have it up and running :D

Maz, if i get stuck are you ok for me to ring you on saturday? only just checked this post since i was at work til 10pm last night and just finnished for the day.

Judging by the ammount of work he has it the moment and the ammount of XB's already sold I think he should be alright for work until he retires.

just a note to say thanks for all the helpful notices and the buell is once again back on the road. with the right information and advice (and tools)it ended up been quite an easy job. test drive went well and the belt is still on so good result all round.

now, the next question, is it worth paying £110.00 for a free spirits tensioner as i can see the logic in the design as a pose to the buell fixed tensioner system. and of course if anyone knows of any websites that sell them for less than £110 that would be great too.

Yes it is. A bit dear I know. You can pick them up for about £80 S/H but you could wait 6 months for one.
