Belt price from Las Vegas HD 205 USD plus about 50 USD if they sent it home. Thats all free of US local state tax cos its export !

And an arm and a leg if their UK delivery agent is parcel farce ...

... and as I always seem to get US shipments delivered by them I've given up as it isn't worth the hassle as I don't seem to save anything ...

$255 equates to about £163.46, Jersey HD is quoting £159.59 on their website - although that's for a 1125 belt ...

Has anyone bought one from Jersey? Is the price correct? I bought some stuff off them a few years back and got a call from them to tell me the prices I had paid were wrong.

Worth checking cos their prices are normally about 10 to 15% off retail...

I have used Jersey HD in the past and never had any issues with them.

Although I have, on occasions, found them not to be the cheapest ...

Was going to buy a couple of belts as spares, as they will give you 10% off until 30th November if you spend £200, but money is a little tight at the moment and I have concerns that a belt may "perish" if left sitting on the shelf ...

The one on my Firebolt is 6 years old, the one on my Uly 4 years old.

It may be that HD did a lifetime buy on the belts or a bulk buy, so if you bought one in two years it may be from the same batch available now.

When do you think you will need it? If I needed a spare (I have spares already), I would be buying at that price...

Was thinking of how tyres can perish if kept in storage, and how some man made materials can go brittle if not used (although leather can be the same), no telling how good a belt will be if stored a couple of years (or more) and not used.

Hopefully I will never need another belt, but it's a bit of a pain when one does break and you have to wait for one as dealers don't have any in stock ...

...although I am in the lucky position of having other bikes to ride.

Sorry, meant to say it was for an 1125r so Jersey HD is cheaper unless you happen to be in USA and can get one sent to the dealer nearest your temp address, assuming you can import without hassle..... Shall be working there next year occasionally so I may do that.

Love the "wing" bolts for quick assembly/removal, cracking idea that.Must remember that next time I'm prototyping.

Looks like you're almost done,we can tidy it up on the mill.
Spring looks a bit bigger than the last one?
