However, saying 'never ever' do something is pretty stupid, isn't it? A clear example of tittish proclaimations is this scenario.

Ok so it was a bit "heavy handed" of me to say so. I have done something like in the vid, do use lots of the R/H side of the road to see ahead and do not blindly follow all the signs/road regs IE lights, etc.

The guy, that came off, only crossed the lines while being able to see the road ahead, which is fine. On the other hand the other guy had overtaken what looked like, if it was, a parked car on a blind bend but it was tight and he would have had to and again it would be fine if the car was parked but not if it was moving. But you could also say that if the guy, that came off, had not been going so fast, on those very bendy roads, he may not have come off at all.

My only wish is for riders to be as safe as possible as I do not like people to be hurt. Good road skills, proper kit and a healthy respect for speed will help a lot in the long run.

I know far too many partners of dead mates and people who have been hurt than I would like. But thats just MO.

But people who do get hurt are not being hurt in vain...They enable the kit providers to make and design better kit for us all....And we can`t forget Darwin in all of this can we?.....Also, if you put yourself in the postion of facing death in the eyes.....Then if you can`t come out of the other end, Darwin was bang on.....And that has to be a good thing.
