Kev,

If you remove all the plastics including the tank and expose as much wiring as you can. Set up a remote petrol feed then run it. Piss about with the loom and try to repeat problem. It will get upto temp far quicker stationary, if it is a wiring /connector issue it's more likely to be heat related...ie above the engine. It's got a lot of miles and a good few years on the clock

I believe that that particular issue was raised on pages 4 and 5, Nate. Kev did say that he had a spare tank with a fuel pump in it but it needed a bit of clean before he could try it....

Hi Martin not had much chance to look at it but i'm just going for a ride now ........only thing i found that i wasn't happy with is one of the new diodes i fitted .....one old one has definitely failed as in open circuit both ways ......but one of the new ones is very dodgy in the fact the resistance in the flow direction is all over the shop when you keep a meter on it ...so now have two good diodes in and going to go for a test ride now.
