We're used to people travelling distances to have their Buell fettled in our workshops but today was quite special Mcrbuelligan was here from Manchester to collect his 1125R which had been here for warranty work (thanks for your help with parts ) Jill Brown was here from Portsmouth to collect her Blast which we had saved from the crusher . And Dakar had brought his 1125R all the way from north of Dublin for a service and rear tyre Thankyou all for your support and let's see if you can make it back in three weeks for the Birthday Barbeque Steve |

And the most impressive part of this little story, is the co-operation of Maz with dealership and acknowledgement of such True community spirit at work. I salute the both of you. |

Big thanks to Derek for collecting my Blast on Tuesday, to Dave for fettling my Blast, Jon for pre MOTing my Blast, and of course Steve for arranging all of this. I had a great ride home, although I am a little stiff from riding 150-odd miles on a bike I have got out of the habit of riding. Very different riding position!! Thanks everyone... |

Motorrad wrote: Felt slow, didn't it, Jill? In the low gears, yeah, but once it got going it kept up with TOH's FJR. Averaged 70-75 all the way home...!! |

Hmmmm......not quite sure how to respond to this one......or even if I should/dare I'm delighted that Steve and his team have worked their magic yet again.....your customer called in to see me this afternoon on his way back from BB and is well chuffed with his bike I am, however, still smarting from the grief this has caused both me and people I consider to be close friends/colleagues......if they had needed my help in any way to sort this bike, they would have got it unreservedly. |

I have just realised there is one person I didn't mention here....that is Willybuell!! If it hadn't been for him obtaining a second hand fuel tap from the US for me, then this wouldn't have been possible. A new one has been on back order since January!!!! Thanks Willybuell, you are a star!! |

Normally i'd say a 1000 km "spin" for a service and a tyre is mad, but with buell's the peace of mind knowing it 100% is worth it The bike handled great both over and back... and except for a little rain and traffic on the A5 thru wales, overall enjoyable..... as they say, its the journey, not the destination I even took a harley for a spin I'll stick with the buell Thanks to all at BB... might even make it a yearly spin |
