Hi.

Why would you convert from FI to carb - what advantage is there?

Also being 5'8'', is the seat height OK for me as a shorty?

I can think of no reason to convert to carbs. It is one of the best systems i have ever used. As long as the sensors are good no probs.

FI... when it's running right, it's perfect... but....
(Harley have one of the worst FI systems known)

But I'd stick with it - with the folks on here with the electricery and esmspy, all should be well and quickly repairable.

Oh, and I'm 5' 9" and the seat height is (subjectively) perfect for me.

I'd go for the carb.............

If you only ever want your fuelling perfect on the days with the same conditions and elevation as the day you set it up :!: lOl

As for seat height, are you a complete novice or an old sweat with a gazillion miles under your belt? :?

Beef- old sweat really- 50 this year, biking since 17, back on bikes again at 32, never without one since lOl . Seat height was being questioned as the x1 / cyclones etc look a tad higher than the later XB's but are a fair bit cheaper.
Looked at this one, then missed it due to hesitating too long whilst awaiting a reply / going to work etc;

I think you'll find it'll be far easier to reach the ground on an X1 than it will be on most XB's ;-)
