i bit the bullet and bought the harris stand for the back wheel
seems good
put on the fs spirits tensioner yesterday with its help, and the guide off here
cheers for the torque settings

however
can someone recommend me a stand for the front wheel
obviously one that will let me take the wheel off

I've got a HARRIS RACE FRONT UNDER-YOKE TYPE PADDOCK STAND
for my Buell X1, not sure if it fit a Uly, you have to measure the internal diameter of the bottom yoke stem as Harris do a do a few sizes of the spigot that locates in the stem, not a cheap stand, but very good quality as are all Harris products.
