ive had a Uly 06 model for a few months now, been using it more and more, really enjoying riding it, but, feel the front end is a bit soft, is this something that i need to look at, inkeeping with all the other little mods?

Hmmmmm.......spend the last 13 years of your life spannering nowt but Buells.......or you could have it sorted professionally by someone that knows these bikes, or you could just do your own thing and flounder hopelessly, or you could listen to advice given here by peeps who either haven't got a clue or who may just have some good advice :?
Whatever.....tis your call but dont expect me to offer advice re. suspension that you could never understand :)

Thanks for your kind words, I was actually trying to offer genuine sound advice based on real life experience......it may sound like ''dishing out crap'' to you but trust me on this, it was meant as trying to help you out

the issue isnt or never has been your expertise on the subject it is your condescending attitude

Post subject:  Re: Uly front suspension

So what did you actually want me to say ?.......do this or that ?......trust me on this, whatever advice given wouldn't result in you getting what you're looking for.
Been there, done that......and it always ends in the same way, only way is actual experience and it has to be done in a very precise manner.....I can do this all day long and you would've been very welcome to watch and learn but I've decided that I dont like your attitude, so you can sling ya hook ie. dont bother ever travelling the very short distance to my shop ever again and please feel free to blank this site at your earliest convenience....dont let the door catch your sorry arse on the way out :)
.......how's that for a condescending attitude

Post subject:  Re: Uly front suspension

thats exactely what i expected you to say
i put up with your attitude problem up till now cos i thought the advantages outweighed the disadvantages

in the future when there is hardly anyone prepared to put up with you,
you can sit in your concrete bunker and lament on how long you have been 'spannering' buells
but there will be no one listening cos you are arrogant and self obsessed

Valerian, I had a long chat with Maz on the phone from Skipton regarding keeping my bike (a Uly) or getting rid as I'm emigrating to Portugal. He was most helpful and anything but patronising!!
