hi everyone. had a slow speed off and my frame /tank has a small dent where there
the puck was, sliders on the axles saved anymore damage, but still sick to my stomach at bike nnot being mint still. my options are insurance claim, which will loose my no claims and a 500 excess, paint it but local custom painter won't be able to match the slightly rough/embossed finish of the frame paint so a custom job would be order of the day, he has some good ides or carbon frame guards/covers, but trojan horse/adrenalin moto's supplier no longer makes them for the long frame model, does anyone out there know of a supplier who does carbon cover? long 1st message haha but im in need of help and advice. cheers guys

In my experience, if you go the insurance route, they will write the bike off re. ANY frame damage

Give Sabre Custom Engineering a look up , Steve there has told me he can get the match on the frame on the xb frame on scratch etc , he is looking into a wheel match colour on my wheel for me as I have a buckled wheel when i get a new wheel.

As for Trogan getting the carbon frame covers, there from a German company if you want to go down the real deal stuff. but there are a few other companies out there you just have to look.

You can't get a replacement frame any more, and if you could have it would be prohibitively expensive.
Also, noone will ever buy an XB with a dented frame. I mean it's not worthless, but you basically took about £2000 off the value of the bike.

Is it leaking fuel? If not it is cosmetic...

You could cover the dent with a frame puck and if you can still see marking call Nobby at Black Bear and get some touch up. I know someone on this very forum who got taken out by the Luftwaffe on a roundabout, the bike was written off but the frame polished up nicely with touch up...
