I'm embarrassed to say that I really like the S1's, especially in yellow Sadly I'm far too short to own one. I'm also not convinced that it would be an every day bike and manage 12k ish a year without having Maz living in my garage

Ritchie had his in Ireland and it was pretty easy on the eye. If I remember correctly it was in need of medical attention at one stage

I have to admit I still have a very soft (and possibly moist) spot for an S1 and if Nick P's Shirley hadn't of been nicked I wouldn't have the MV now........perhaps there is karma

There are some really nice S1's out there, mainly owned by forum members (Pash, Mev, Scotty, Matron, Adam, Sinner, Mojo etc....notice how I didn't include G2 ) but there are some real dogs out there too...mainly available on ebygumbay.

It's just too easy to totally fuck up an S1.

I really don't understand the assumption that an S1 is not for short riders.

My legs are so short, they barely reach the ground.
