So I had my stock exhaust modded by the guys at Sabre (http://www.ukbeg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11001) Love it. It sounds brilliant was only about £100 to have done and service was second-to-none. However, being a modded stock Buell exhaust, it has (as Maz so astutely predicted) started to do the Buell Rot Trot.... that is it's already corroding and going orange with rust on the bottom. So... since I'm doing my Buell Bomber conversion(http://www.ukbeg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9621) thought I'd go the whole hog and get a stainless exhaust. Cue the 'Albert'. I fitted it on Saturday and it's awesome! I'll echo what others have already said... it's a work of art. Beautifully made, solid and looks great. And the sound? Well with the baffle in it sounds much like my Sabre - a really nice growl that's not too loud. Baffle out and it's a louder deep growl that in my opinion is similar to my old Remus (with the baffles out), but more a 'growl' to the Remus' 'boom'. I'll try to do a video next weekend, but it's ace! Thanks Albert (Alan)! ![]() |
