Am sure many of you will jump right in and "tell me so" but Oxford Paddock stands are total and utter shit!

There's not a emoticon/smilie for quite how angry I am

You would think that if a product is sold in a nationwide chain of stores as being a paddock stand, it'd be capable of taking the weight of a motorcycle - or am I talking crazy?

It's buckled as I was raising the bike on it, damaging not only itself (the wheels have just popped right off the axels like they were held on with Pritt Stick), bike has fallen left towards the wall, I've managed to save it, but scratched up my arms, pulled my back (which had finally been fine for about 5 months) and scratched up the brand new CNC ally bar ends and bar end mirrors.

I'm about ready to kill someone at Oxford - their product is complete and utter shit, shit shit!

Please, can someone point me at a rear paddock stand that will actually hold my bike, not buckle as I raise the bike up on it and not cost the earth?

(sorry... I'll calm down in a mo...)

True... might be worth a go I suppose, though it won't fix me back :(

Hopefully it's just a spasm.... ah, my good friend Naproxen...

For bobbins on an XB you will have to drill your swinging arm, don't forget that it acts as an oil tank...

I'd steer clear of any make that only has a single wheel each side as that fact alone makes them more prone to flexing sideways.

Pour yourself another one lOl
The forks on a XB are different lengths, so if it's not adjustable for height, then you'll be cutting one leg of the stand shorter and welding it together again. If it's the type with a spike that fits up the fork legs, make sure the spike doesn't touch the spindle, coz it could knacker it.
