Can anyone confirm the original appearance of the frame paint finish?. I know with early models there were QC items but should the paint finish been applied to look , or have I been looking at an S1 with a poorly resprayed frame. Thanks in advance. |

My early S1 has a metallic grey frame. What does yours look like? Give us a clue? |

I'm in the market for a reasonably priced S1. The frame of the first I've looked at had an 'eggshell' appearance. It was grey, but so dry you couldn't tell if it was meant to be metallic. Having given it some thought the apperance may have been due to the overspray ffom the shonky job done on the bodywork, ie it was sprayed in situ!! apart from being poorly masked. |
