I have alot of vibes from my mirrors - I read that applying silicone to the outer edge where the mirror meets the black plastic helps , has anyone done this ?
and would you think leaving a gap for water and water to pass through is recomended.

Try tightening the faring down well and making sure the mirror bolts to the faring are tight....
If that don't work try removing the rubber sleeve and replacing the stock screw things with a good old nuts and bolts
Donno if silicone will work, it could make it worse

I've siliconed mine, easy job, made a bit of difference, still vibrates a bit though.
I masked up the glass, then just whacked a load in the gap and smoothed off with my finger, its not noticable at all, no one has noticed it since i done it 6 months ago.
My bike doesnt get left out so i didnt leave a rain hole !
