Anyone tried out these Bagster tank covers? Looking to use one to cover up plastic bubbles on my fuel tank.

PM Daywalker, I think he has one.

Yes I have the smaller tank one for my S1. Great for attaching luggage but to cover up blistering paint I would have thought that over time the cover will destroy the paint underneath as dirt will be washed underneath the cover and hence scratch the paint?

My brother-in-law uses one on his NTV that is ridden all weathers and the tank underneath looks like it has been rubbed down ready for painting as all of the clearcoat has been rubbed off.

Plus they don't look good.

Norm used one for years, and I'm sure would be the man to speak to about pros & cons.....

I used them on my Bandit and CBR1000F. I don't really get on with riding with tank bags though so haven't used one since I buried the CBR into the side of an Espace 6 years ago. If I was going to use a tank bag, I wouldn't hesitate to use Baglux.

Yep I use a baglux cover on Muffin when travelling with luggage ....easy to put on and off ....secure and stable ...lots of bags to choose from and although not as nice looking as a polished tank they are well made .....I've even got one in the garage ready for my S3 manta ray tank if I ever get around to getting the spare seat moddded to fit it lOl
I believe Sarahs Barney may now be wearing a baglux cover as well for the very same reasons you want one ;)

I've used them on a few bikes; they are good and fit well, be sure to get the bag you need, some are feckin huge.

I have oone on my Ulysses. Had a colour coded one on an Africa Twin years ago and on a R1100GS. I think they are greatbut look better in black as great as the colour coded ones look a bit naff. I think my bag is a Shibuya. 11 litres which expands to about 20. Excellent bag. Strange name though. Used to piss it up in Shibuya when I lived in Tokyo. I think they also do one called Roppongi. Could talk for ages about riotous all-nighters round the expat bars there.
