Yes I think it would be cheaper to replace the CR The bike comes with one of those Harley type connectors, Shaws also fit the Optimate type to all new bikes when sold which is nice  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bike-waterpro ... _500wt_971 |

My (15 year old) Optimate had a shagged connector, so I just cut it off and crimped on a male and female shielded spade connector. Did the same on the bike lead. Job's a good 'un. |
